Got a call from Jim Hayes out of Texas, he saw the Bill Dance episode and realized he could catch big tarpon right here in Fort Lauderdale.
His daughter does not live far from here so he decided to take a trip down to see her. Jims a pretty clever fellow so he brought his best friend Whit with him and asked his son in law if they would like to book a fishing trip during his stay. Well they were all in and so were the tarpon.
Whit and Ray broke there cherry’s on there first tarpon and Jim landed a nice fish. I think they were 4 for 20 or something like that.
