Got a call from the “Tarponator” early today, he had some time this afternoon to do a little fishing. Then “Wide Right Matt” calls to tell me he the afternoon off.

I told them to meet at the “NV” at 1 PM we would try to fly a kite out front for a while. On the way out my buddy Brad meets us at Lauderdale Marina and hops aboard. Now if I would have tried to plan a trip like that with three buddys it never would have happened.

Anyway it took about 45 minutes to catch bait and we were flying the kite by 3PM . Not long after a nice color change formed in about 150 feet, the edge only lasted about an hour, we went 1 for 2 in about an hour and headed home a little after 5.Here is Tarponator “Runnin the Dog”

Matt with the release
Nice and legal

This has been the most consistant sail fishing I have had here in the last twenty years or so. Now if some reel numbers show up we will be in business Good luck out there and be careful!
