I received an e-mail from Gil who wanted to take an out of town guest to experience some fishing down here around Fort Lauderdale.

His guest got sick and could not make the trip so Gil decided to go any way. It was a good choice, he was able to fight two tarpon, releasing one about 90 pounds and breaking the line on the other after fighting him for 30 minutes or so.

Great job out there Gil !

After the two tarpon we decided to give it another 30 minutes and we were rewarded with a nice snook.
