Got a call a few days ago from Chris Nunos who wanted to take advantage of this years mullet run down here in south Florida. Chris has fished with me multiple times since we first met a few years ago shooting a Miami Ink episode. Chris is a avid fisherman and really loves the inshore fishing game. He brought along his friend Lauren who also loves fishing.

We started off the night fishing off the beach. You could see the tarpon feeding lazily on the giant schools off mullet that were migrating down the beach from Fort Lauderdale . These fish looked fat and happy not wanting much to do with our baits. We decided to move inside as the sun was going down to try our luck. This move paid off nicely.

Chris got this lunker snook that was way over the limit.

Lauren caught multiple tarpon  between 15 and 30 pounds.

I actually forgot how many tarpon we got to the boat but I do remember we all had a blast.
