First of all I wish to thank you for all your patience and skills in
making possible a dream come true. Friday 24th July 6pm: what’s a Lunker I
asked? as soon as I got into the boat, Jeff just smiled at me and
responded “you’ll see”. After several tries trolling for tarpon he looked
at me and said, “dont worry, we’ll be catching something big before 9.00
pm” He was wrong, our first big catch (a 12 lb snook) was about 5 to 9.
Before that this weird thing happened, a big fish (snook or tarpon??? who
knows)was caught on my line, went under the boat, jump over it, rebounded
and then cut the line. We will never know what hit us. It was getting
late, our tour was about to end and at 10.00 pm exactly, we finally caught
this huge 28 lbs snook. Believe me the feeling is unforgetable. Jeff
looked at me and said “here’s your lunker”. Let me tell you, it there
would be only one fish in the waters of Ft. Lauderdale, this guy will lead
you straight to it. He knows all the angles, all the baits (specially one
which I am not authorized to reveal LOL). I already mailed this picture
to my folks and pals in Uruguay and guess what? they dont believe me !!!!!
So as soon as you upload it to your web page, let me know. On my next
trip to USA one thing for sure is I’ll gon fishing with Capt. Jeff again.
