I got a call over a month ago from Bill. Bill was planning a family get together with his two brothers and thought it would be a good idea to get them out fishing. I picked then up about 3PM yesterday at Lauderdale Marina. As soon as we put our lines in Bill was rewarded with a nice barracuda over four feet long. Then one of his brothers Steve gets blasted by a school of jack cravelle but could not get the hook to stick. Fishing slowed down for a while until the sun got kind of low and Steve caught a really nice mackeral about as long as your arm. I should have taken a picture, mackeral do not get much bigger then this guy was. Soon after that Toms bait gets exploded on by a 60lb tarpon. He feeds the tarpon perfectly the circle hook sets and we are in business. After peeling off about 80 yards of line the fish puts on a show jumping frantically time and time again. Everybody was pretty stoked and it was Toms first tarpon and biggest catch ever!

We ended up 1 for 3 on tarpon. Had a really good time with these guys and I was glad to be apart of their weekend!
Good luck out there and be careful!
